Fast color capture through USB3.0
A 60 fps Bayer GR 8 stream at 2448 × 2048 places MV-CS050-60UC V2.0 in the fast USB color branch of the CS family. The 2/3-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor combines 3.45 µm pixels, a global shutter and 73.9 dB dynamic range. Exposure covers 5 µs to 10 sec, and the USB3.0 link can also provide power to the 5 MP camera.
Color-coded part sorting, orientation checks and assembly-state capture can use the 60 fps rate to observe frequent machine cycles. The global shutter and 5 µs exposure floor support moving features under controlled illumination. Hardware timing passes through one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated line, while the body depth remains 30 mm.
MV-CS050-60UM V2.0 matches the Stacked BSI sensor, 2448 × 2048 frame and 60 fps USB3.0 link but outputs Mono 8. MV-CS050-60UC V5.0 retains color and speed, reduces typical use from 1.8 W to 1.5 W at 5 VDC and adds high full well capacity plus high sensitivity modes. MV-CS050-60GC V2.0 moves color data to Gigabit Ethernet with PoE and runs at 23 fps.

FAQ
What color stream does MV-CS050-60UC V2.0 send over USB3.0?
The camera sends 2448 × 2048 Bayer GR 8 at up to 60 fps. Its 2/3-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor has a global shutter, 3.45 µm × 3.45 µm pixels and a listed dynamic range of 73.9 dB.
Can MV-CS050-60UC V2.0 freeze motion with short exposure?
Its global-shutter exposure range begins at 5 µs and extends to 10 sec. The short end can limit displacement during a frame when paired with suitable illumination, while hardware input can synchronize the capture.
Does MV-CS050-60UC V2.0 need a separate power lead?
USB3.0 power supply is supported, and typical camera consumption is 1.8 W at 5 VDC. A separate 9 VDC to 24 VDC input is another option. The data interface also accepts USB2.0 connection.
Which lens format matches the MV-CS050-60UC V2.0 sensor?
The front interface is C-mount and the sensor format is 2/3 inch. Select an image circle that covers that format and optical resolution appropriate for 3.45 µm pixels across 2448 × 2048.
What improvements appear on MV-CS050-60UC V5.0 versus V2.0?
V5.0 keeps 2448 × 2048 Bayer GR 8 at 60 fps but adds high full well capacity and high sensitivity modes. Typical consumption at 5 VDC is 1.5 W on V5.0, compared with 1.8 W on V2.0.
