20 MP mono imaging on a network

Maximum spatial sampling in the Gigabit Ethernet subset defines the MV-CS200-10GM. Its 20 MP Sony® IMX183 rolling-shutter CMOS sensor captures 5472 × 3648 mono images at up to 5.9 fps. A 1-inch optical format and 2.4 µm pixels place correspondingly greater demands on lens coverage and detail transfer. The camera provides 65.5 dB dynamic range, exposure from 46 µs to 2.5 sec and gain adjustment from 0 dB to 24 dB.

Large-area dimensional checks, fine contour extraction and inspection of dense monochrome detail can use the 5472 × 3648 array when scene change between frames is moderate. Gigabit Ethernet supports network placement and remains compatible with Fast Ethernet, while PoE can combine power with data. External 9 VDC to 24 VDC power and I/O use a 6-pin Hirose connector. The 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm housing carries a C-mount for the 1-inch sensor.

MV-CS200-10UM preserves 5472 × 3648 mono output and raises the ceiling to 19.2 fps through USB 3.0. MV-CS200-10UC offers the same USB rate and resolution when Bayer GB 8 color is needed. For a faster Gigabit Ethernet mono camera with fewer pixels, MV-CS120-10GM V5.0 supplies 4024 × 3036 at 10 fps. This model is the choice among those three when the 20 MP networked mono image has priority over frame rate.
