Mono line inspection at 60 fps

High-rate grayscale analysis with relatively large pixels is the selection case for MV-SC3013XM. Its mono global-shutter CMOS sensor records 1216 × 1024 at up to 60 fps, using a 1/1.45-inch format and 6.9 µm pixels. Exposure ranges from 6 µs to 1 sec. The M12 mount supports mechanical autofocus, and the light source is a white spot by default with red, blue or IR point-light alternatives.

Edge, width, brightness and diameter measurement can be combined with OCR, code recognition, learning-based count, object detection and anomaly detection. These grayscale tools fit fast presence, mark and geometric decisions on moving or indexed objects. Fast Ethernet carries network communication, while a 12-pin M12 connection combines 24 V DC power, three opto-isolated inputs, three opto-isolated outputs and one RS-232 channel.

MV-SC3013XC is the color alternative at the same 1216 × 1024 resolution and 60 fps. MV-SC3030XM increases mono detail to 2048 × 1536 but runs at 40 fps with 3.45 µm pixels. MV-SC3050XM retains that 40 fps rate and raises the frame further to 2432 × 2048. Select MV-SC3013XM when the 60 fps cadence and 6.9 µm mono sampling take priority over the higher pixel counts of the slower neighbours.

FAQ

Which combination makes MV-SC3013XM suited to fast grayscale checks?

It combines a mono global shutter, 1216 × 1024 resolution and a maximum of 60 fps. The 1/1.45-inch sensor uses 6.9 µm pixels, and exposure begins at 6 µs for short captures under sufficient illumination.

What recognition functions can MV-SC3013XM run without color?

The onboard set includes code recognition, OCR, learning OCR, category recognition, classification registration and object detection registration. Counting, anomaly detection, coordinate transformation and measurement tools can support the decision.

How is focus adjusted on the MV-SC3013XM optical head?

The lens connection is M12 and mechanical autofocus is supported. White spot illumination is standard, with red, blue or IR point-light options, while one aiming LED and a 360° visual indicator assist setup and status viewing.

What are the supply and consumption figures for MV-SC3013XM?

MV-SC3013XM requires 24 V DC. With its light source enabled, average consumption is 7 W and maximum consumption is 22 W. The operating temperature interval is 0 °C to 50 °C.

When should MV-SC3030XM be chosen over MV-SC3013XM?

Choose MV-SC3030XM when the mono task needs 2048 × 1536 rather than 1216 × 1024 pixels. MV-SC3013XM is faster at 60 fps versus 40 fps and uses 6.9 µm rather than 3.45 µm pixels.
