Three-megapixel color positioning
A 2048 × 1536 color image gives MV-SC3030XC a 3.1 MP-class grid for detailed feature and recognition work. The 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor uses 3.45 µm pixels, a global shutter and a maximum rate of 40 fps, with exposure from 6 µs to 1 sec. A mechanically autofocused M12 mount and white spot illumination form the standard optical arrangement; red, blue or IR point sources can be substituted.
Color measurement and recognition can operate with OCR, code recognition, object detection, learning-based counts, anomaly detection and coordinate tools. This mix supports detailed colored-part verification, mark reading and position decisions at a moderate line rate. Three opto-isolated inputs and three opto-isolated outputs plus RS-232 are carried by the 12-pin M12 connection, and 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet links the sensor to the network.
MV-SC3030XM changes the 2048 × 1536, 40 fps platform to mono while retaining 3.45 µm pixels and global shutter. MV-SC3013XC is faster at 60 fps but lower at 1216 × 1024, with larger 6.9 µm pixels. MV-SC3050XC retains color and 40 fps while raising resolution to 2432 × 2048. Pick MV-SC3030XC for the middle color resolution; use MV-SC3050XC when the extra pixel count is required at the same rate.

FAQ
What full-resolution rate is available from MV-SC3030XC?
The color CMOS imager records 2048 × 1536 at up to 40 fps. It uses a global shutter, a 1/1.8-inch format and 3.45 µm pixels, while its selectable exposure runs from 6 µs to 1 sec.
Which color decisions can be implemented inside MV-SC3030XC?
Color measurement, color size, color count, color contrast and color recognition are listed. They can be combined with OCR, code recognition, object detection, anomaly detection, position conversion and dimensional tools.
What illumination choices surround the MV-SC3030XC M12 mount?
The M12 optical interface supports mechanical autofocus. A white spot light is standard, and red, blue or IR point sources are optional. One LED provides aiming, while a 360° visual indicator presents status around the body.
How is MV-SC3030XC integrated with a controller and trigger?
Fast Ethernet provides the 100 Mbit/s data path. A 12-pin M12 connector carries 24 V DC power, three opto-isolated inputs, three opto-isolated outputs and RS-232, and the top button can trigger the device locally.
What is the selection boundary between MV-SC3030XC and MV-SC3050XC?
Both are color global-shutter sensors running at up to 40 fps with 3.45 µm pixels. MV-SC3030XC records 2048 × 1536 on a 1/1.8-inch format; MV-SC3050XC increases this to 2432 × 2048 on a 1/1.45-inch format.
