Detailed inspection and model context

Full 4096 × 3000 monochrome capture over USB 3.0 is the focus of MV-CT1MU0120/G. A 1.1-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor with 3.45 µm pixels combines 12 MP sampling, global exposure and 31 fps in Mono 8. The optical format uses C-mount lenses, while the imaging head remains 29 mm square and 30 mm deep.

This near-square frame fits dimensional inspection of broad components, dense feature arrays and indexed assemblies that still move between acquisitions. Global shutter timing avoids line-by-line geometric displacement, and exposures from 20 µs to 10 sec can be coordinated through Trigger Width or Trigger Controlled modes. USB 3.0 may also provide power through Type-C.

MV-CT1MU0089/G shortens the frame to 4096 × 2160 and increases speed to 42 fps on a 1-inch sensor. MV-CT1MG0120/G delivers the same 4096 × 3000 mono format through GigE and PoE at 23.9 fps. MV-CT2CU0120/G matches the USB resolution and 31 fps in colour, with a 42 mm CT2 body rather than the compact 29 mm CT1 enclosure.

Selection and applications

Dense monochrome component measurement. Global-shutter inspection of indexed assemblies. High-resolution USB acquisition.

Minimum kit: MV-CT1MU0120/G, a 1.1-inch C-mount lens, a USB Type-C cable, and USB 3.0 power or a 9–24 V DC supply.

Nearby in the range: MV-CT1MU0089/G — Prefer it for 42 fps when a 4096 × 2160 image is sufficient.; MV-CT1MG0120/G — Prefer it when the same 4096 × 3000 format must run over GigE with PoE.; MV-CT2CU0120/G — Prefer it for colour output at 4096 × 3000 and 31 fps..

FAQ

What lens pair is listed for the 1.1-inch USB monochrome camera?

MVL-KF3524M-25MP and MVL-KF5024M-25MP are listed. Both are C-mount lenses with 19.3 mm image circles for the 1.1-inch format, and both carry a 25 MP class above the camera's approximately 12.3 MP image.

Which cabling and power paths are available on MV-CT1MU0120/G?

USB 3.0 uses the Type-C data connector and can also power the camera. A separate 8-pin M8 A-Code connector accepts 9–24 V DC and supplies one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O.

At what format does this CT1 reach its stated 31 fps maximum?

The maximum applies at the full 4096 × 3000 resolution in Mono 8. USB 3.0 is the primary interface and it can also operate with USB 2.0; higher-bit Mono 10, 10Packed, 12 and 12Packed formats are supported.

Does the 12 MP USB model expose a moving scene globally?

Yes. Its Stacked BSI CMOS sensor uses a global shutter. Exposure is adjustable from 20 µs to 10 sec, with Off, Once and Continuous operation plus Trigger Width and Trigger Controlled modes for external timing.

What sealing and temperature range apply to MV-CT1MU0120/G?

The camera is rated IP67 and operates from –30 °C to 60 °C. Storage spans –30 °C to 80 °C, and operating humidity is 20% RH to 95% RH without condensation, subject to correct sealing at the lens and wiring.
