Integrated high-resolution colour head

Twelve-megapixel global-shutter imaging, a 16 mm liquid lens and white illumination are combined in MV-CT2CG0120/G/16LC/WN. The 1.1-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor provides 4096 × 3000 Bayer GB 8 at 23.9 fps with lossless compression. The complete optical head measures 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm and communicates over GigE.

This configuration addresses dense colour feature checks, broad assembly inspection and indexed measurement where integrated optics and lighting are required. White light covers 6000 K to 9000 K over a 90° irradiation angle, and UltraShort exposure reaches 10–19 µs. PoE can share power with image transport, while the correctly assembled lens cap maintains IP67 sealing.

MV-CT2CG0120/G keeps the same 4096 × 3000 global-shutter core and 23.9 fps in a 42 mm C-mount body for separately selected optics. MV-CT2CG0050/G/16LC/WN uses the same integrated 16 mm concept and runs faster at 59.2 fps, but records 2448 × 2048. MV-CT2CG0200/R/16LC/WN raises resolution to 5472 × 3648 and changes to a rolling shutter at 22.3 fps.

FAQ

What lens and illumination are incorporated in the 12 MP head?

The head incorporates a 16 mm liquid lens with an integrated C-mount and white light. Illumination is specified at 6000 K to 9000 K, with a 90° irradiation angle and approximate 7.7 W power; the lens-cap bore is Ø38.5 mm.

Which network connector can also power the integrated camera?

An 8-pin M12 X-Code connector carries 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet and supports PoE. If separate power is selected, the M8 A-Code connection accepts 9–24 V DC and also provides the camera's input and output lines.

Is the full 4096 × 3000 image retained with /16LC/WN?

Yes. The integrated version retains 4096 × 3000 Bayer GB 8 at 23.9 fps with lossless compression enabled. It uses the same 1.1-inch, 3.45 µm Stacked BSI global-shutter sensor as MV-CT2CG0120/G.

What working temperature constrains the lens and light assembly?

The lens-cap assembly is specified for 0 °C to 40 °C, which is narrower than the camera body's –30 °C to 60 °C range. Complete-head operation should be based on 0 °C to 40 °C; storage for both extends to –30 °C to 80 °C.

How does the integrated enclosure affect installation space?

The assembled unit occupies 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm. Its underlying camera body is 42 mm × 42 mm × 43 mm, and the lens cap adds a 70.5 mm outer length with a listed 330 g weight.

Can the global exposure be synchronized to a process trigger?

Yes. The camera supports Trigger Width and Trigger Controlled modes, as well as Off, Once and Continuous exposure. UltraShort exposure spans 10–19 µs and standard exposure covers 20 µs to 10 sec.
