Integrated 20 MP colour positioning

The highest-resolution integrated option combines a Sony IMX183 sensor, 16 mm liquid lens and white light in MV-CT2CG0200/R/16LC/WN. Its 1-inch rolling-shutter CMOS imager records 5472 × 3648 Bayer GB 8 at 22.3 fps with lossless compression. The resulting 20 MP GigE head occupies 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm.

It is intended for stationary or indexed colour surface inspection, dense marking capture and broad component analysis where a single optical and lighting assembly is useful. White illumination covers 6000 K to 9000 K over a 90° angle. Exposure spans 46 µs to 2.78 sec with Rolling and Global Reset modes, and both PoE and discrete trigger I/O are available.

MV-CT2CG0200/R uses the same 5472 × 3648 Sony IMX183 and 22.3 fps in a compact 42 mm body with separately selected C-mount optics. MV-CT2CG0120/G/16LC/WN trades detail for global exposure at 4096 × 3000 and 23.9 fps. MV-CT2CG0060/R/16LC/WN keeps the rolling shutter and integrated 16 mm lens but supplies 3072 × 2048 at a faster 40 fps.

FAQ

Which optical and lighting parts are built into the 20 MP version?

A C-mount 16 mm liquid lens and white illuminator are integrated. The light is specified at 6000 K to 9000 K, with a 90° irradiation angle and approximate 7.7 W power. The lens-cap bore is Ø38.5 mm.

How does the integrated head connect for GigE data and power?

An 8-pin M12 X-Code port provides 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet and the camera supports PoE. The alternative power input is 9–24 V DC on the M8 A-Code connector, which also carries one input, one output and one bidirectional I/O.

Is 22.3 fps maintained at the complete 5472 × 3648 image?

Yes. The stated operating point is 22.3 fps at 5472 × 3648 in Bayer GB 8 with lossless compression enabled. The 1-inch Sony IMX183, 2.4 µm pixels and rolling shutter match the base MV-CT2CG0200/R.

What temperature interval applies to the integrated optical enclosure?

The lens-cap assembly works from 0 °C to 40 °C, whereas the camera body is rated from –30 °C to 60 °C. Complete assembly operation should remain in the 0 °C to 40 °C interval; the storage range is –30 °C to 80 °C.

How should motion be handled with this 20 MP rolling-shutter head?

The sensor provides Rolling and Global Reset modes and can be timed through Trigger Width or Trigger Controlled exposure. Its minimum exposure is 46 µs, but indexed or stationary subjects remain the direct fit for avoiding line-by-line displacement.

What dimensions and lens-cap mass affect mechanical integration?

The complete unit measures 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm. Its lens cap has a 70.5 mm outer length, a 66 mm inner length and a listed weight of 330 g; the camera body itself is approximately 120 g.
