Integrated 20 MP optical head

High-density capture and an integrated optical assembly meet in MV-CT2MG0200/R/16LC/WN. Its Sony IMX183 monochrome CMOS sensor records 5472 × 3648 through a 16 mm C-mount liquid lens, while built-in white light is included in the assembly. The 1 in, 2.4 × 2.4 µm rolling-shutter sensor reaches 22.3 fps in losslessly compressed Mono 8 over Gigabit Ethernet.

The 20 MP format addresses stationary defect inspection and broad-field measurement where the camera, 16 mm liquid lens and integrated white light form one package. Illumination is approximately 7.7 W at 6000 K to 9000 K with a 90° irradiation angle. The camera offers Rolling and Global Reset modes and triggered exposure from 46 µs to 2.78 sec. Its completed 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm enclosure is IP67 after correct assembly.

MV-CT2MG0200/R provides identical Sony IMX183 imaging at 5472 × 3648 and 22.3 fps in a smaller body for separate C-mount optics. MV-CT2MG0120/G/16LC/WN retains the integrated 16 mm lens and light but uses a 4096 × 3000 global shutter at 23.9 fps. MV-CT2MG0050/G/16LC/WN reaches 59.2 fps at 2448 × 2048. Choose this version when the 20 MP rolling-shutter format and integrated head are both required.

FAQ

Which lens and sensor are combined in this integrated 20 MP camera?

The optical head combines a 16 mm liquid lens on C-mount with a 1 in Sony IMX183 monochrome sensor. The sensor has 2.4 × 2.4 µm pixels and records 5472 × 3648. The complete camera-and-lens-cap assembly measures 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm.

What color temperature, irradiation angle and power are listed for the built-in light?

The built-in source is white light. Its color temperature is 6000 K to 9000 K, irradiation angle is 90° to the horizontal direction, and power is approximately 7.7 W. The lens-cap bore is Ø38.5 mm.

Which shutter modes are available for the Sony IMX183 version?

The sensor is rolling shutter, and the camera supports both Rolling and Global Reset modes along with Trigger Width and Trigger Controlled exposure. Exposure spans 46 µs to 2.78 sec. Motion should still be planned around rolling-shutter readout rather than treated as global exposure.

How are power and image data supplied to the integrated head?

Gigabit Ethernet data uses an 8-pin M12 X-Code connector, and the camera can receive power by PoE or from 9 V DC to 24 V DC. Typical camera consumption is 1.9 W at 24 V DC under the stated condition. The integrated white light is rated separately at approximately 7.7 W.

What temperature range governs the full 20 MP assembly?

The camera body is rated from –30 °C to 60 °C, while the lens-cap assembly is rated from 0 °C to 40 °C. Operation of the completed head should follow the narrower 0 °C to 40 °C interval. IP67 depends on correct installation of lens, cap and cable.
