M12 X-code to RJ45 Ethernet cables for CT PRO and MAX cameras

Gigabit cables for CT PRO and MAX cameras with a waterproof 8-pin M12 X-code connector. A standard RJ45 patch cord does not fit these cameras: the camera connector is threaded, and the IP67 rating relies on the M12 mating. Which cameras use this M12 X-code cable family?

The stated compatible camera groups are CT PRO and CT MAX. Each cable terminates in an 8-pin male M12 X-code connector for the camera and RJ45 for the Ethernet side.

When should the ST construction be selected?

ST is the standard class for fixed installations. Its listed lengths are 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 and 30 m, with separate ST(WP) choices at 3, 5, 10 and 15 m.

How do HF and SF differ from the fixed-installation group?

HF and SF are both identified for drag chains and moving axes, whereas ST is for fixed installation. Each moving-cable class provides M12 X-code 8-pin male to RJ45 versions from 1 to 30 m.

Why can a normal RJ45 patch cord not replace this cable?

CT PRO and CT MAX use a threaded M12 camera connector rather than RJ45 at that end. The IP67 arrangement also relies on the M12 mating, so the specified M12 X-code to RJ45 geometry must be retained.

Which lengths are offered with the WP designation?

The ST(WP), HF(WP) and SF(WP) groups each list 3, 5, 10 and 15 m. The WP suffix is therefore a separate selection point from flex class and run length.
