High-rate inspection and alternatives
A 1624 × 1240 colour frame at 177.3 fps positions MV-CT2CG0020/G between the fastest low-resolution CT2 cameras and the 3.2 MP class. Its 1/2.53-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor uses 3.45 µm pixels and a global shutter. Lossless compression enables the stated Bayer GB 8 rate over Gigabit Ethernet.
The camera targets fast colour classification, component-presence checks and motion analysis where 2 MP sampling is enough to resolve the feature. Exposure starts at 23 µs, and Trigger Width or Trigger Controlled operation can lock global capture to a part sensor. PoE, an M12 X-Code data connector and IP67 sealing address machine-side cabling and exposure to dust or moisture.
MV-CT2CG0016/G is slightly faster at 180 fps but provides 1440 × 1080 on a smaller 1/2.9-inch sensor. MV-CT2CG0032/G moves to 2048 × 1536 and a 1/1.8-inch format, reducing speed to 77.5 fps. MV-CT2CG0004/G maximizes rate at 200.5 fps when its lower 720 × 540 colour image covers the required feature.
