Dense colour sampling in context
Small 2 µm pixels and a 4096 × 3024 image give MV-CT2CG0120/R dense colour sampling from a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The 12 MP Stacked BSI CMOS device uses a rolling shutter and reaches 18.4 fps in Bayer BG 8 with lossless compression enabled. C-mount optics and Gigabit Ethernet complete the imaging path in a 42 mm CT2 enclosure.
The camera suits stationary colour surface checks, indexed assembly verification and dense marking inspection where the part can pause. Exposure covers 26 µs to 10 sec, while 2 × 2 and 4 × 4 binning or decimation provide lower-resolution operating choices.
